Legal Associate

Gloria graduated from the MARA University of Technology, Malaysia and is currently an associate of a boutique law practice located in Kuala Lumpur, in association with Gateway Law Corporation and NG Partnership.

Gloria’s practice areas include both contentious and noncontentious intellectual property matters, corporate and commercial law, family law, employment law, immigration law, and bankruptcy. From time to time, she also assists her clients with probate matters and drafting of wills.

On the intellectual property front, she plays an active role in advising a wide array of clients which includes inventors, start-up businesses, entrepreneurs, and government agencies in planning and devising effective intellectual property strategies to maximize their business potential. She also manages intellectual property portfolios for many multi-national corporations and assist to have these maintained both locally and internationally.

Additionally, Gloria has assisted in the establishment and incorporation of private companies and representative offices in Malaysia. She also advises these companies on their contractual obligations and employment-related matters. She had assisted multi-national corporations with their share transfers and restructuring.

Gloria is fluent in English, Malay, Mandarin, and her mother tongue, Iban.
