Legal Associate

Sharmini graduated with second class honours from the University of London in 2018 and obtained her Certificate in Legal Practice (CLP) in 2019. Sharmini commenced and completed her pupillage in Ng Partnership in association with Gateway Law Corporation. She was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor in 2022.

Sharmini is trained in a range of corporate matters including due diligence, merger and acquisition, contractual and corporate documents review, and general corporate and employment advisory matters.

During her compulsory 14 weeks of Legal Aid Services, she was placed under the Dock Brief Programme where she has provided free legal assistance including mitigation, bail application and other related advice and representation to both local and foreign clients on a voluntary basis. This programme helped to develop both her advocacy and interview skills.
